AIR VALVES
Clean Water | Wastewater | Special Applications
The objective of an air valve is the admission and expulsion of air through the pipes in the manner and volume established for each installation by the project engineers.
Thus, these parts are not only protection and safety elements but also necessary to achieve efficient behaviour of any pumping and piping network.
Although our valves were initially intended for water supply and wastewater systems, over the years these fields have expanded to include water-treatment plants, cooling systems, desalination plants, large irrigation systems, mining and water circuits in energy plants. In all these areas, IRUA Tech Industries provides tailor-made technical solutions to achieve the best performance of its valves.
AIR RELEASE VALVES
Their purpose is to exhuast the air accumulated in a pipeline when it is pressurized and in service.
AIR VENT AND VACUUM (BI-FUNCTION) VALVES
These allow the admission and expulsion of large quantities of air, a requirement that occurs mainly during the operations of filling and emptying the pipes.
AIR VENT AND VACUUM (TRI-FUNCTION) VALVES
These combine the operations of purging, admission and expulsion of air in a single valve, enabling assemblies which are lighter and simpler but which maintain their reliability.
VACUUM BREAKER VALVES
These valves only allow air to enter the system in cases where negative pressure threatens to affect the integrity of the pipe. The opening setpoint can be adjusted according to the needs of the system.
ADDITIONAL VALVES
Our slow shut-off and deep well valves complete the range of options offered by our air valves, giving extra protection against water hammer.
